It’s been a while now since I first heard of the phenomenon that is the blogging community known as Tumblr. I even made an account way back when, which I quickly got bored of however, due to not having enough time to create any original content and not feeling lazy enough to “reblog”, a concept which to me, is lazy and just an excuse for people to get credit for things that they had no part in creating. Also, Tumblr may as well be called “Big Twitter”. It’s literally Twitter, but bigger. But I figure that I could use over 140 characters at times because sometimes, believe it or not, I have more to say. For better or for worse, one thing is certain: I’M BACK, BITCHES.

I figure I’ll use this blog to discuss things that I think are really fucking stupid. Let’s start with something that up until very recently, I had hoped didn’t exist: people who think that Minecraft is a legitimate design program. No joke. Someone in my drafting (tech) class actually submitted what was supposed to be a presentation outlining the potential design of a tree house as several screenshots of one he made on the game. After I was done laughing my ass off about this, I asked him if he even bothered to turn on “safe” mode so that at least he wasn’t under constant threat of having his entire house blown up by a creeper. He said no and that one did try to blow up a portion of his house. This, ladies and gentleman, is why I don’t play Minecraft. I don’t want to become one of them. Oh, and while I’m at it, Minecraft LEGO is stupid for really obvious reasons. But it’s happening anyways.

And before any of you call me a cyberbully for this, please note that I didn’t mention the kid by name. I’m ethical. They call me “ethical Darbs”. They actually don’t.

Anyways: I’m Darby. Nice to meet your acquaintance. Prepare to disagree with me on several points while I shout them loudly at your computer screen in all caps. Because I’m a guy with opinions.
